Kobe Bryant Calls Shaq 'Most Dominant Player I've Ever Seen' During Lakers Statue Ceremony

By Timothy Downs

The Los Angeles Lakers honored Shaquille O’Neal with an epic statue outside of the Staples Center on Friday night.

Naturally, O’Neal was given a standing ovation by the home crowd.

Shaq commented on former teammate Kobe Bryant, who was in attendance, saying:

“We will go down in history as the most enigmatic, controversial, dominant one-two punch ever created.”

And Kobe had nothing but nice things to say about Shaq.

While the two legends weren’t exactly best friends during their time as teammates, there’s no denying the respect they have for each other in retirement.
