Houston Rockets' Chinanu Onuaku Has a Bit of an Unorthodox Free-Throw Stroke

Houston Rockets rookie Chinanu Onuaku shot 46.7 percent from the free-throw line during his freshman season at Louisville, but improved it to 58.9 percent as a sophomore.

Part of the improvement had to do with Onuaku’s change to a granny-style stroke from the line.

Chinanu shot his first NBA free throws on Sunday against the Sacramento Kings and drained both of them with ease.
