Houston Rockets Owner Gets Up From Courtside Seat to Go Talk to Referee During Game

By Jason Fletcher

Les Alexander bought the Houston Rockets in 1993.

Maybe it’s because he’s been in the league for 24 years or maybe it’s because he’s extremely rich, but Alexander did something on Tuesday night that we haven’t seen before.

During the second quarter of his team’s playoff game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Les got up out of his courtside seat and walked over to say something to the referee.
