It’s no secret that the 2008 Boston Celtics championship team which broke up in the seasons to come after that title shared an incredible bond.
But in the aftermath of these individuals – Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, Glen Davis, and Kendrick Perkins – going in different directions, the hurt feelings were real.
Especially with Ray Allen.

One couldn’t help but notice the lone missing face from this reunion, as he defected to the Miami Heat following the NBA championship in Boston and won another ring in South Beach.
Why these guys still take it so personally that Allen decided to go his own way is unknown, but what seems apparent is that these scars are going to last for a long time.
