Skip Bayless Goes On Bizarre Diatribe About LeBron James & Zaza Pachulia After Kawhi Leonard Gets Hurt Against Warriors

By Timothy Downs

On Sunday afternoon, NBA aficionados were stunned when the San Antonio Spurs manhandled the Golden State Warriors in the first half of Game 1 of their Western Conference finals showdown in Oakland.

The Spurs took a 20-point lead into halftime, and appeared to be destined to shock the masses and steal Game 1 from the Warriors on their home court.

Unfortunately for Spurs Nation, it wasn’t meant to be.

After Kawhi Leonard went down with an ankle injury following a controversial play involving Warriors center Zaza Pachulia, San Antonio collapsed and ultimately blew the game late in the fourth quarter.

Somehow, FS1‘s Skip Bayless, a Texas native and huge Spurs fan, managed to lump Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James in with Leonard’s injury in what can only be described as an absolutely bizarre diatribe that spanned across multiple social media platforms.

First, crazy Uncle Skip posted a series of odd tweets.

As he said he would, Bayless, who apparently hasn’t learned how to use Periscope via Twitter yet, subsequently booted up Facebook Live and continued to talk a boatload of poppycock.

The video is kinda long, but Bayless essentially broke down the entire game, calling Pachulia a “hockey goon” and goes on to talk about how the “injury gods” continue to bless LeBron’s teams right around the 8:25 mark (or -9:25).

We all know Bayless’ main goal with this entire outburst was to gin up buzz for his show ‘Undisputed‘ on FS1, which has struggled to generate solid ratings as a network.

Here’s proof.

Never change, Skip. Never change!
