Celtics & Wizards Share Respect After Contentious Series Concludes in Game 7

There’s nothing quite like a Game 7 in sports, especially when that deciding contest features two teams that plain don’t like each other.

And as the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards showed throughout their seven-game hardwood war, they aren’t exactly the best of friends.

Still, as this exchange shows, game recognizes game and the NBA Playoffs are all about greats taking the time to respect one another.

John Wall and Isaiah Thomas were the two centerpieces in this battle, so their acknowledgement of each other’s play was nice to see.

Even Game 7 hero Kelly Olynyk dished out some dap to the Wizards.

These two teams put everything they had out on the court and one of them had to lose.

But still, now it’s even more difficult to think that Boston will have much in the tank for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
