LaVar Ball Makes Himself Look Incredibly Foolish By Trying To Insult Kyrie Irving

By RanterX

LaVar Ball can’t seem to stay out of his own way this week.

As if blatantly disrespecting FS1‘s Kristine Leahy wasn’t enough, the obnoxious basketball dad one-upped himself yet again.

It all started last week when Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving criticized Ball on the podcast Road Trippin With RJ & Channing hosted by teammates Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson.

I’m sorry, LaVar, you’re not going to be in every hotel room that Lonzo is going to be in. You’re not going to be everywhere and part of his life as he continues to grow up. You got to let go. He’s 19-years old. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want it to bypass him being a father, but he’s got to let Lonzo be Lonzo for the long haul.

I had to have a talk with my dad, and I was just like, ‘Man, Dad, I love you, but I’m going to make my own decisions. And he told me, when I turn 18, I’m responsible enough for myself to make my own decisions, and he’s going to be there to help along the way. But when I turned 18, like, I got my first tattoo. I got my ear pierced. I just started doing my own thing.

During an appearance on Skip Bayless‘ ‘Undisputed’ Ball elected to fire a few shots back at Irving, which is somewhat understandable.

However, Ball had no clue what he was talking about, and dug a deeper hole for himself in the minds of many who were absolutely appalled by his latest statements.

You have some young people that’s out here critiquing, “Oh LaVar needs to let Lonzo go.’ How you young guys gonna say anything when you ain’t got no kids?”

“Like Kyrie?” .

“Kyrie, Definitely!” “How you gonna tell me how my son should be when you don”t have a kid?

Ball added:

Two big problems: First, Irving is indeed the father of a one-year old girl, Azurie.

Azurie Elizabeth Irving 11/23/15 35 hours of labor from her great mother and she came into the world to bring a shine to my world that I never thought was possible. I love you so much, and my heart grew the first time I felt your heart against mine. Mommy, I gave her your name because I know you will bless her and our family the same way you blessed me. I love you.

Secondly, Irving grew up without his mother because she died of an ailment when he was four years old, not because she chose to not be in his life.

8/13 I love you. You’re the reason. Elizabeth Ann Irving

Ball continues to be unable to deal with the tremendous criticism he brings upon himself without taking things to uncomfortable, cringe-worthy levels.

If you want to be a ‘Big Baller’, you have to be able to brush your shoulders off when someone questions your public antics, especially when they are as outlandish as LaVar’s…
