Steve Kerr Welcomed Back as Warriors Head Coach By Home Crowd & LeBron James

By Anthony Blake

Of course, Golden State Warriors fans were grateful to see head coach Steve Kerr back on the bench for the first time since April 19 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

But even the opponents were happy to see his return, as Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James gave Kerr some dap before the game began.

That was great to see, but the home crowd gave Kerr an ovation to remember.

And afterward, Kerr was very appreciative of the crowd welcoming him back in such a warm way.

A 132-113 win for the Warriors shows they didn’t miss a beat with their old leader back on the sidelines, but Mike Brown posted a pretty respectable 11-0 record in Kerr’s absence.

Talent goes a long way.
