The Cleveland Cavaliers put up what can only be described as an absolutely admirable effort against the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals on Wednesday night.
However, despite 39 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists from LeBron James — in addition to 38 points, six rebounds, and three assists from Kyrie Irving — the Warriors were still able to muster a 118-113 win in front of a stunned Quicken Loans Arena.
In the final minute of the game, Kevin Durant drained a clutch, pull up trey to give the Warriors a two-point lead that they would never relinquish.
Golden State now leads the series 3-0, and has a chance to become the first team to ever go 16-0 in the NBA Playoffs on Friday in Game 4.
