ESPN's Stephen A. Smith Apologizes To Kevin Durant's Mom

Stephen A. Smith has been one of Kevin Durant‘s loudest critics dating back to last summer when the NBA Finals MVP decided to take his talents to the Bay Area and join the Golden State Warriors.

On Tuesday, Kevin Durant’s mother, Wanda Durant (AKA The Real MVP) was a guest on Smith’s ESPN show First Take.

When Smith’s past criticisms of Durant were brought up, he stood his ground by saying he still thinks Durant joining the Warriors was a weak move.

But Smith ultimately apologized to Wanda for the manner in which he made his comments after being encouraged to do so by the studio audience.
