New York Knicks Would Be Stupid to Trade Kristaps Porzingis, So Don't Be Surprised When It Happens

By Jason Fletcher

The New York Knicks have been in a constant state of disarray ever since Phil Jackson took over in early 2014. Jackson was hired as team president of the Knicks on March 18, 2014 and while the team finished that season with a 37-45 record, New York has yet to win more than 32 games in three full seasons under Jackson.

The one thing that Phil seems to have gotten right is selecting Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. During his rookie year, Porzingis averaged 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks before upping his numbers to 18.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks last year.

Unfortunately, it seems as if New York Knicks fans aren’t allowed to have nice things as Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Jackson is willing to listen to trade offers for Porzingis.

As expected, Knicks fans are outraged and none sum it better than Barstool Sports’ Michael Rapoport’s NSFW rant:
