J.R. Smith Says He Was Hacked After Social Media Account Posts He's Leaving Cavs

Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard J.R. Smith made news on Wednesday when his verified Facebook account sent out a farewell to Cleveland as if he had been traded.

The post was ultimately deleted, and Smith swiftly took to Twitter to let everyone know he was hacked and isn’t leaving the Cavs.

As you probably recall, Smith’s Twitter account tweeted “Cavs in 7” after Cleveland lost a heartbreaking Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors during the 2017 NBA Finals, which was also blamed on a hacker.

Smith might want to think about stepping up his cyber security game in the future…
