Markelle Fultz Helped Off Court By Teammates As 76ers' Bad Injury Luck Continues

By Anthony Blake

It seems like a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point for the lowly Philadelphia 76ers to assemble all these young, talented players with so much hope and promise only to see injuries ultimately derail their potential and keep the franchise in the doldrums.

Now you can add the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Markelle Fultz, to the equation after he needed helped getting off the court on Saturday night.

While the injury occurred when Fultz rolled his ankle, one can only hope that a sprain was the cause for his discomfort and not the onset of some chronic issue.

There’s just too much positive happening in Philly right now for it to end before they even get off the ground.
