Hornets' Frank Kaminsky Drills Mannequin on 85 MPH Pitch in Batting Cage

Things usually go wrong when someone familiar with one professional sport tries their hand at another, and Frank Kaminsky is no exception.

The Charlotte Hornets center is a diehard Chicago White Sox fan, and when he checked out a recent game he stretched out his arm in the batting cage to try and throw a real fastball.

Frank Kaminsky made a $100 bet he could throw 85 mph

Apparently his bet with the folks watching was for $100 that he couldn’t throw 85 MPH, so he was certainly celebrating after getting the radar gun up to that number.

But you know who wasn’t celebrating?

That poor mannequin.

Right in the head!
