Steph Curry Hooks First Tee Shot at Event into Golf Cart Cup Holder

By Anthony Blake

Any golfer knows that the first tee shot can be a nervous experience.

Apparently that even applies for two-time NBA champion and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who hooked his opening shot at the Tour Ellie Mae Classic dead left onto the cart path.

And this was the ball’s final resting spot.

There was no play it as it lies fiasco, since golf carts are movable, man-made obstructions, and Curry actually settled down very nicely after the nervy opening tee shot.

Shooting a 74 on a professional-level golf setup is remarkable considering it’s his second-best skill.
