Magic Johnson Tells Lakers To Deduct Paul George Tampering Fine Out Of His Salary

Last month, the Los Angeles Lakers were fined $500K by the NBA for violating an anti-tampering rule when general manager Rob Pelinka had contact with Paul George’s agent.

George, who was traded by the Indiana Pacers to the Oklahoma City Thunder over the offseason, becomes an unrestricted free agent next summer and is expected by many NBA insiders to sign with the Lakers.

Lakers president and NBA Hall Of Famer Magic Johnson recently offered to pay the fine out of his salary, but is it really Magic’s responsibility?
