Los Angeles Lakers Will Retire Kobe Bryant's No. 8 & No. 24 Jerseys

Some players are so great their jersey numbers get retired with their respective teams.

Kobe Bryant was so great that the Los Angeles Lakers decided to retire both his No. 8 and No. 24 jerseys with the franchise.

During his 707 games as No. 8, the Black Mamba averaged 23.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.

As No. 24 for the final 639 games of his career, Kobe averaged 26.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists.

Seems worthy of a double retirement, don’t you think?
