Wisconsin basketball leads Big Ten in attendance for fourth consecutive season

Anyone who has ever attended a Badger men’s basketball game at the Kohl Center could tell you how electric the atmosphere can get, and now they’ll have the numbers to back it up.

According to a report released by the NCAA last week, the Badgers ranked seventh in the nation in attendance, with an average of 17,230 fans per game.

According to Wisconsin State Journal, the Badgers have sold out 138 games in a row and have now led the Big Ten in attendance for four years in a row and eight of the past nine seasons.

The Big Ten led all conferences in attendance, with seven schools finishing in the top 25 and nine in the top 40.
