Jerami Grant was coming off a busy weekend in which he met with each of his three finalists, as the schools made their final attempt to pitch their worth.

Syracuse, Notre Dame, and Rutgers all met with Grant last weekend in a trio of in-home visits.

With those visits in the bag, Grant took the week to mull his decision; settling with Syracuse on Friday evening.

Grant, a 6-foot-7 forward, is currently ranked at No. 43 overall within the class of 2012, according to ESPNU.

Prior to trimming his list of schools, Grant had been receiving attention from numerous high-major programs, ranging from the Big East to the ACC to the Big-12.

The addition of Grant is the first commitment for the Orange in 2012, while Syracuse also remains highly involved with big man DeJuan Coleman, as well.

Known for his athleticism, Grant has the ability to attack the rim given his long frame and highly-productive skills.

Aside from his three finalists, Grant had also received attention from Oklahoma, Maryland, North Carolina State, and Virginia Tech, among others during his recruitment.
