Michigan Basketball Leaves Mainland For Maui Invitational

Michigan basketball is off to a good start this season, being ranked 18th in the nation and having a perfect 3-0 record. Their perfect start though will be on the line today when they face #10 Memphis in the opening round of the Maui Invitational. This tournament has the field of four teams ranked in the top 25 in the nation, the other two being the Duke Blue Devils and Kansas Jayhawks. Michigan will represent the Big Ten and hopefully make some early headlines early on in this College Basketball season. Leading the way for Michigan is sophomore guard Tim Hardaway Jr, averaging just under 15 points a game. Look for senior leaders Zack Novak and Stu Douglass to step up and make an impact for Michigan to help keep the wolverines perfect record.
