Indiana Basketball keeps rolling, but when it comes to road games they have had their fair share of problems. Penn State just coming off a huge win at home against Purdue on Thursday, were looking to keep their momentum going at home against Indiana. Jordan Hulls and Matt Roth quickly took all that momentum away from the Nittany Lions and earned a key win for the Hoosiers on the road 88-82. Hulls and Roth combined for 40 points shooting 12-15 behind the arc.
“It’s a testament to how well we moved the ball,” Roth said. “We had a lot of inside-out stuff to get us started. That’s always nice to get that shot when you’re shooting 3s and it’s coming from the middle.”
Jordan Hulls ended with a career-high 28 points and help snap Indiana’s 16-game Big Ten road losing streak. This win and some other results from the weekend will propel the Hoosiers into the top 10 for the first time since 2007.
