Marcus Jordan: UCF Star, MJ’s Son Arrested in Omaha
Marcus Jordan, a senior on the UCF basketball squad and son of the great one, Michael Jordan, was arrested early Sunday morning outside of a hotel in Omaha following a disturbance.
Jordan was apparently having an argument with two women in the hotel driveway at 2:11 A. M.
A news release said Jordan was “very animated, intoxicated, and uncooperative.” It took several officers to handle and handcuff him. Jordan was taken to the Douglas County Department of Corrections and charged for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing. He was released later that night.
This is a very disappointing thing to see, both for Jordan himself and his father. Marcus, a senior for the Golden Knights, should be displaying the behavior that a senior generally does.
As for Michael, this will hurt his image that has not been going well as of late. After putting together the statistically worst team in NBA history, rumors spread that Jordan was belittling his players. Overall, this is a dark day for the Jordan family.
