Back in mid-June, Solomon Mangham took the time to speak with Rant Sports with an update on his recruitment.
The number of schools expressing interest in the 6-foot-6 small forward were aplenty, and as that list continues to grow, the scholarship offers begin to come forth.
Mangaham, a Georgia-native and member of the class of 2013, has picked up a pair of offers this summer and nears two more as the month of July nears a close.
“Southern and Houston Baptist offered during July, “Mangham said. “And two others have hinted their interest.” Those other two schools that appear close to offering the forward are Jacksonville and Southeastern Louisiana.
Mangham spent the latter half of June visiting schools in the Boston and New England areas. Moving forward, Mangham hopes to make additional visits, but they remain unplanned at this time.
Now that another summer on the AAU circuit is nearing completion, Mangham once again turns his focus to continued improvement as his final year of high school approaches.
“I want to improve my defense, three-point shooting, and consistency,” he said via text. “I know how much better I will be when I can defend the other team’s best player.”
Mangham spent this past summer running with Kingdom Elite.
