At 6-foot-2, Mohamed Touray hails from the Bronx and with another summer in the books, the interest level for the point guard continues to add up.
“I’m hearing from Dayton, Notre Dame, Hofstra, Xavier, Fordham, Bucknell, and Boston University,” Touray said via text on Thursday morning.
When asked about his play over the course of the past few months, Touray, who attends Wings Academy (NY), said, “I feel like I played good, had a great summer, but I need to get in the gym and improve my game even more.”
As the guard continues to grow and improve his skill set, more schools continue to express interest in the New York City-native. Wings Academy, which is conveniently located in the Bronx, certainly has one of the more, on-the-rise prospects in 2015 on their hands.
Touray said he looks to improve his ball-handling, as well as his strength and conditioning this season.
In preparing for his sophomore season, Touray has plenty of time to improve and grow within his talents, especially as his recruitment process continues to pick up.
His interest level ranges from a number of area programs in the NYC area, but has explained it also extends to the Big East with Notre Dame.
Touray runs with the NY Lightning on the AAU circuit.
