Joel Berry‘s recruitment continues to rise and on Monday morning, the 2014 point guard added an offer from North Carolina and head coach Roy Williams.
At 6-foot-1, Berry continues to be labeled as one of the top prospects within the class of 2014 and his recent addition of the UNC offer adds proof to that.
A native of Apopka, Florida, Berry currently attends Lake Highland Prep (FL).
The offers have poured in for Berry, not only recently, but over the length of his recruitment. In addition to North Carolina, Berry also holds scholarships from Florida, Florida State, Kansas, Marquette, Maryland, Miami (FL), North Carolina State, Ohio State, South Florida, and Central Florida.
Throughout the summer months, Williams kept a close eye on the rising point guard, extending an offer his way following the end of the AAU circuit.
With an improving game and still two years of high school remaining, Berry can likely expect more offers to come his way as he continues to play and grow.
Known for his athletic ability, Berry continues to rise due to his overall strength and skill. A true playmaker, the guard certainly has an undeniable reach in terms of his potential.
Berry spent this past summer running with the Each 1 Teach 1 AAU program.
