2012-2013 High School National Basketball Rankings

The 2012-2013 high school basketball season is a couple months away and some schools believe their team is going to be the best. While most of these ranked teams have their state title in the bag, some schools want a title worth more than that. Some schools want to earn the title of nationally best team, across several national basketball rankings. Although it’s early to start predicting, here are the top 25 national high school basketball rankings from 2011-2012 Powerade Fab 50 Rankings: Final:

3. St. Anthony (Jersey City, NJ)

4. Chester (Chester, PA)

5. Marcus (Flower Mound, TX)

6. Neal F. Simeon (Chicago, IL)

7. Milton (Alpharetta, GA)

8. Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)

9. Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL)

10, Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX)

11. Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV)

12. Paul VI (Fiarfax, VA)

13. Dematha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD)

Personally, I like Powerade’s rankings. Being from Chicago, I would have loved to see Simeon be ranked a little higher, but how can you argue with Oak Hill’s record (44-0). They dominated everyone and had their best overall record ever. Oak Hill was definitely the team to beat last year and will be this year.
