2013 Forward Semi Ojeleye Trims List to Four
By way of Ottawa, Kan., Semi Ojeleye has molded himself into one of the top prospects within the class of 2013.
Eric Bossi of Rivals.com tweeted out the news first: [blackbirdpie url="https://twitter.com/ebosshoops/status/238110526226444288"]
Ojeleye had been receiving plenty of interest during his recruitment from schools on the east and west coasts to everywhere in between. In fact, Ojeleye’s four finalists include one school on the east coast, one school in the Midwest and two west coast schools, so location obviously doesn’t seem to be an issue for him.
Ojeleye had a very impressive summer in 2012, including a run in the Nike Peach Jam in which the forward averaged 17.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Ojeleye led his MoKan Elite squad to the semifinals of that same summer tournament.
No official visits have been planned yet for Ojeleye.
ESPN ranks the forward at No. 38 overall, while Rivals labels him at No. 36.
Here are some highlights of Ojeleye last season at Ottawa H.S. (Kan.):
