On Wednesday, 2014 recruits Jared Terrell and Abdul Malik-Abu each added offers from Kansas State and head coach Bruce Weber.
Terrell and Malik-Abu, each of whom run with Expressions Elite on the AAU circuit, have spoken about a potential package deal in the past and strangely enough, each prospect has added the same offer in each of the past two days.
After K-State’s scholarship extension on Wednesday, Penn State and head coach Patrick Chambers became the latest to offer the 2014 prospects.
Both Terrell (Weymouth) and Malik-Abu (Boston) are Massachusetts natives, but each attend separate prep schools in the state of New Hampshire.
Terrell, who now attends Brewster Academy (N.H.), just recently switched schools after spending last season at New Hampton Prep (N.H.). Malik-Abu stars at Kimball Union Academy (N.H.).
While Penn State has become just the latest school to offer the pair of budding stars, the scholarships are aplenty.
Malik-Abu stands at 6-foot-8 and continues to rapidly improve, as does the 6-foot-3 Terrell. Malik-Abu helped lead the Expression Elite u16 team to the finals of the first-ever “Live in A.C.” tournament just last month, and he did so while Terrell was still recovering from a late summer injury.
While each still have plenty of time to decide and think about their collegiate future, both prospects certainly have the chance to play together at the next level, if they choose.
Each recruit holds a number of high-major offers in addition to their latest from Penn State and Kansas State.
