Old Dominion to Expand Radio Coverage to Central Virginia

Old Dominion is adding Richmond based radio station WZEZ-FM (EZ 100.5) to its sports radio network this basketball season. According to ODUsports.com, this move is in response to the Monarch fan base in the Richmond area.

EZ 100.5 is owned by Chesapeake/Portsmouth broadcasting and its signal can be heard in Richmond, Louisa and Goochland counties.

“As our fan base continues to grow outside the Hampton Roads market, our Richmond fans in particular have been asking for the expansion of our radio coverage into that market and we are delighted that EZ 100.5 will be joining the Monarch family,” ODU Athletic Director Wood Selig told ODUsports.com.

In addition to live basketball coverage, Monarch fans in the Central Virginia area can enjoy the Bud Light Blaine Taylor Coach’s Show throughout the course of the season. Tip-off coverage starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the game.

This station will also be broadcasting ODU football games and the Bud Light Bobby Wilder Coach’s Show.
