William and Mary Announces New Director of Basketball Operations
William & Mary head coach Tony Shaver announced that Kevin Hogan will assume the role of Mens’ Basketball Director of Basketball Operations.
In his new role, Hogan will be in charge of film exchange, team travel, facilities, camp and other administrative duties.
Hogan has a wide variety of college basketball experience. Last season, Hogan served as an assistant coach at Tallahassee Community College.
Hogan helped TCC to a 15-13 ledger as a member of head coach Eddie Barnes’ staff in 2012. Prior to his time at Tallahassee Community College, Hogan served on the coaching staff at Florida A&M from 2009-11 under Eugene Harris.
He also has been around the college basketball game for the majority of his life. Don Hogan, Kevin’s father, is currently the associate head coach at Coastal Carolina. Don was also the head coach at the University of West Florida from 1993-2009.
Kevin Hogan played collegiate basketball as well. A four-year palyer Rollins College, he graduated ranking second all-time in 3-pointers made (270) and third all-time in 3-point percentage (44.0) in school history. He also ranks 22nd overall in scoring with 1,295 career points.
Hogan went on to graduate from Rollins with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2007 and earn his MBA in finance from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins in 2009 before joining the Florida A&M coaching staff.
