To no surprise, South Florida landed a commitment from the son of head coach Stan Heath on Monday, as Josh Heath became the third addition to the Bulls’ class of 2013.

Just two days later, the Bulls have doubled up and increased their class for next season to four with the addition of one of Florida’s top targets, Chris Perry.

In addition to both Heath and Perry, South Florida also holds commitments from Drew Davis and John Egbunu. Drew and Egbunu are high school teammates at Eagle’s Landing H.S. (GA) who both pledged to the Bulls back on Mar. 9 of this year. Egbunu is considered as the No. 75 prospect within the class of 2013, according to Rivals.

As for Perry, he stands at 6-foot-8 and currently attends Bartow Senior H.S. (FL). He ran with the E1T1 program during his time on the AAU circuit.

Perry, who also boasted offers from Miami (FL), Tulsa and Cincinnati, among others, is a huge get for Heath and the Bulls. Entering last season, Heath’s job security was up in the air and many considered the South Florida head man to be on the hot seat. However, the team responded in 2011-12, making a run and landing a bid in the NCAA Tournament.

Perry is widely considered among some of the top recruits within the senior class, as he listed at No. 93 overall by ESPN and No. 144 by Rivals.
