Spruce Derden-US PRESSWIRE

Around this time last season, the city of Memphis was full of excitement and energy with the announcement of Memphis Madness and the rapper Rick Ross performing. Well Rick Ross never made it to Memphis due to health issues and the Tiger’s 2011-2012 season ended with a disappointing lost to St. Louis.

All of that is in the past. Memphis Tigers is one season away from the Big East conference.
