Jeffrey Carroll Happy to Be an Oklahoma State Cowboy
Travis Ford’s recruiting prowess continues to pay off:
Small forward Jeffrey Carroll of Rowlett, Texas officially committed to Oklahoma State University Saturday evening after stating his intent to attend the university on September 27th.
Carroll is a 6’6″ forward who will be joining Leyton Hammonds and Chad Frazier as part of the 2013 Oklahoma State recruiting class. Carroll is rated as a 3-star forward by ESPN recruits and is ranked 32 in the nation at his position. Carroll had an impressive summer this past off-season obtaining offers from Oklahoma Sooners, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Kansas State Wildcats.
Carroll became popular during the summer due to his athleticism in the open floor and ability to finish at the rim. He also displayed tremendous range from the 3-point arc and showed the ability to dribble inside the lane and spot-up for easy jumpers using his length. Combined with Marcus Smart and Le’ Bryan Nash, this tripod should be difficult to deal with.
