Another year of college basketball is quickly approaching and in preparation, Rant Sports College Basketball Network Manager Paul Seaver will be breaking down and predicting the outcomes of each conference across the country.
Today, we look at the Sun Belt Conference:
The race for supremacy in the Sun Belt Conference this year could very well come down to two teams: Middle Tennessee State and North Texas. With that being said, the push for multiple bids is on, as both teams have the talent to dance in March. That however, will come down to the squad’s ability to boost their non-conference resumes.
North Texas sophomore Tony Mitchell is undoubtedly the league’s top player, as the forward has molded himself into a potential lottery selection in terms of looking ahead to next year’s NBA Draft.
In addition, South Alabama and Arkansas State will also compete atop the league’s standings, while Western Kentucky looks to build off last season’s run to the NCAA Tournament.
