CAA Basketball Media Day Set for Tuesday
It’s that time of year again. The CAA basketball media day will be in full effect tomorrow Oct. 16 live from Champss-Pentagon Row restaurant in Arlington, VA. CAA Basketball Media Day Live will air live from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will be archived on CAASports.com.
Hosted by John Castleberry, Ashlee Feldman, Al Koken and Charlie Woollum, the show will include interviews with the 22 CAA men’s and women’s basketball coaches. In addition to the coaches, CAA Commissioner Tom Yeager, will be interviewed about the upcoming season.
A highlight of the media day each year is the announcing of preseason All-CAA men’s and women’s basketball teams. This year, you can look for studs like Damion Lee (Drexel), Devon Saddler (Delaware), and Delaware women’s basketball all-time leading scorer Elena Delle Donne.
The order in which each team will finish in the 2012-13 season will also be released. Look for Drexel to top the men’s standings and Delaware to win the CAA on the women’s side.
CAASports.com will be the home for the latest news from media day. You can benefit from an interactive blog as well as coaches interviews, photo galleries and videos. CAA’s Facebook page (facebook.com/caasports) and YouTube channel (youtube.com/CAASportsProductions) will be providing social media interaction. You can also follow the CAA Twitter handle (twitter.com/caasports) and use the hashtag #caahoops to join the media day conversation.
WRHU-FM (www.wrhu.org) will be broadcasting live from the event to provide additional coverage. Their coverage will start at 10:00 a.m as they, too, will be interviewing coaches and players.
