Another year of college basketball is quickly approaching and in preparation, Rant Sports College Basketball Network Manager Paul Seaver will be breaking down and predicting the outcomes of each conference across the country.
Today, we look at the MAAC:
Iona provided tons of excitement (especially on the offensive end) a season ago, as the MAAC earned two bids into the NCAA Tournament. Loyola (MD) joined them in the Big Dance after winning the conference tournament and each team should once again be in the hunt atop the league in 2012-13.
However, Manhattan is ready to make its move, while Siena, led by one of the nation’s top rebounders in O.D. Anosike, is also looking to crash the upper half of the standings.
The race for supremacy within the MAAC should be fun this season with a number of under-the-radar players and teams looking to make the most out of another season on the hardwood.
