Rant Sports NCAAB Conference Preview: SEC
Another year of college basketball is quickly approaching and in preparation, Rant Sports College Basketball Network Manager Paul Seaver will be breaking down and predicting the outcomes of each conference across the country.
Today, we look at the SEC:
Kentucky has lost 93.3% of its scoring and 87.3% of its rebounding from a season ago. Will the Wildcats fall from SEC glory with those losses? No chance.
UK once again enters the year as the favorite to win the SEC, but there will be plenty of challengers nipping at their heels. Missouri, one of two newcomers to the conference this season, has the makings of a team capable of making a title run, while both Tennessee and Arkansas are much improved.
Florida once again presents a threat amongst the league’s elite, while the middle of the group is represented by a number of teams that are hoping to make a stab at a berth in the Big Dance.
The Wildcats’ dominance in the SEC has already begun and with a recruiting class that is already making headlines coming to Lexington next season, this may be the year that others try and pull them down off their perch.
Another exciting year in the SEC is on the horizon, but who will challenge those pesky Wildcats when all is said and done?
