Jordan Bell to Oregon

Jordan Bell will be playing his college basketball at Oregon University next season.  The 6’7” center has made his pledge to Oregon over UConn and Auburn.

Bell is currently a senior at Long Beach Poly, one of the best high school basketball programs in the country.  Even at 6’7”, Bell is a center and a pretty good one.

He loves everything about Oregon, the state and the university.  He feels that everything and every one to do with the basketball program is perfect and he loves the weather in the northwest.

Bell is way too small to be considered a center in the college game.  I would assume he is probably going to play power forward for the Ducks.  As a shot blocker and a rebounder at his size, he fits the power forward position perfectly.

He likes Oregon’s style of play and that is the main reason he wants to play there. Bell is a quick and versatile big man.  He provides great energy along with an outstanding leaping ability.  This being said, Bell will be able to provide a quick spark off the bench and give the team some energy.

Bell will be a major factor in the Pac-12 in the upcoming years.  He has the perfect length and explosiveness for a big man.  Also he is not fully developed and when he is a finished product, he will be a good one.

Oregon is looking to become a top program in the Pac-12 in the upcoming years.  With the addition of Bell their task just got a whole lot easier.
