Do the Butler Bulldogs Have a Chance Against the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers?

Two Indiana schools will go head to head this week when the Butler Bulldogs and Indiana Hoosiers meet up. Indiana will clearly be the favorite going into this game, since they are the No. 1 team in the nation and all, but do the Bulldogs have any chance to win?

Well, Butler did already upset the North Carolina Tar Heels this season by the score of 82-71. However, the Hoosiers beat the same Tar Heels team by the score of 83-59. Butler also beat the Marquette Golden Eagles earlier in the season.

Cody Zeller and the rest of the Hoosiers will come into this game as one of the best all around teams in the country. Zeller along with four other Hoosiers are averaging 11 or more points per game this season.

Rotnie Clark is going to need some more of his magic against Indiana in this one. Clark is leading the Bulldogs with 17.3 points per game, but there are three other players on this team averaging 10 or more points per game.

Butler is definitely talented enough to keep up with Indiana, but the Hoosiers do have a lot of weapons on their team, leading the nation in points per game, with 89.1. If Butler wins this contest they should enter the top 25, but a loss would mean that Indiana is no longer the No. 1 team in the nation.

Bragging rights in the state of Indiana is on the line in this one, where really either team could win. Expect a March Madness atmosphere in this contest, and you better believe that the Bulldogs will have a chance against the best team in the nation.
