After sending a message to the SEC last weekend, Texas A&M was looking for another huge victory on Thursday night with Florida in town.

However, things quickly went south for the Aggies, as the Gators rolled in College Station. Michael Rosario led the way with 19 points for Florida, while Patric Young was borderline unstoppable in his own right.

Texas A&M guard Elston Turner, who dropped a 40-spot offensively against Kentuckywas held to just four points in the loss on 1-of-10 shooting. The story however, is all about the Gators’ continued success.

Think about this blowout victory for Florida and put it into comparison for Wildcats’ fans. That loss to Texas A&M last weekend looks even worse now after the performance that the Gators had on the road.

Florida, who currently sits at No. 10 in the nation, improved their overall mark to 13-2 on Thursday and remained unbeaten within conference play (3-0). Guard play continues to be the focus for the Gators, but its their overall balance that makes them an even more dangerous threat.

Erik Murphy continues to produce for head coach Billy Donovan and added to the fact that Young continues to average double-figures offensively, the lineup and rotation for the Gators may very well be the best that the SEC has to offer.

For the time being, Florida is looking like the team to beat within the conference, and while others will seemingly have their opportunities to contend, the Gators should very well be the team that others are looking up to as the season rolls along.
