Who Should be the New No. 1 in College Basketball?

Apparently being the No. 1 team in college basketball this season is not the best thing in the world, considering the top team in the country has been going down on a weekly basis, but being the highest ranked team always brings serious bragging rights to the table. I think bragging rights are still a cool thing to have. Anyways, with the Duke Blue Devils being the most recent No. 1 team to go down, who will take over at the top of the rankings?

Will it be Kansas? Michigan? Florida? Okay, Florida is a stretch, even though that the Gators will likely land in the top three to top five teams in the land in the new rankings on Monday.

The likely and most reasonable No. 1 team will either be Michigan or Kansas. I am on team Michigan.

Michigan clearly has one of the best offenses in the nation (78.7 PPG) and one of the best backcourts. Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. are kind of good I guess, and they are just the beginning.

Freshmen Nik Stauskas and Glenn Robinson III have been just as good as anyone this year, when it comes to freshmen. Combined, these two studs are averaging 24.7 points per game.

Michigan only has one loss on the season, which came against a very good Ohio State team on the road. The Wolverines are tied at the top of the conference at 6-1 and have an overall record of 19-1.

Kansas could certainly make a great case for being No. 1, but Michigan is currently the No. 2 team in the nation, which means they are next up in line to be the top team in college basketball.
