Florida State Seminoles: Guard Michael Snaer Hits Game Winner (Video)

What’s better for the Florida State Seminoles than getting a game-winning shot to win a game? How about two of them, both of which came by the hands of senior player Michael Snaer in one week.

Snaer is no stranger to being clutch down the stretch. After last night’s three-pointer to beat the Maryland Terrapins, Snaer now has four game winners in the last 13 months. Which coincidentally, is exactly four more than you have.

Florida State’s basketball program has been on the rise for a few years now. Only a 12-8 record at the moment might feel like a disappointment for Seminoles fans, let us not forget that it’s next year the program is supposed to start reaching new levels of success. However, it’s players like Snaer, who make plays like the one he did last night, that keeps you coming back for more Florida State hoops.

Nationally, most of the attention will be placed on Maryland struggling over their last two games. But need I remind you, that if you care, Snaer is there (totally an awesomely bad FSU enrollment commercial next year). Don’t believe me, watch him hit the game winner (video credited to, as usual, Rob Dauster of NBC Sports).

The Seminoles still have a tough road ahead while trying to get their slippers ready for March. Considering they play in the treacherous ACC, all FSU fans can hope for is that the shoes will actually need to be worn and not returned to PayLess.
