No. 4 Florida Puts on a Clinic Against South Carolina
The Gators managed to hold the Gamecocks to just 10 points in the first half and never looked back after that. For Florida, this was just a tuneup game before it takes on the No. 16 Ole Miss Rebels. That game will be at home once again for Florida. Going into that matchup, it is really hard to give the Rebels any chance, considering it will be at home for Florida, and since the Gators have won their conference games by a combined 27.9 points per game.
Regardless, Ole Miss has a great team, but the Gators are just that much better and they showed their talents off once again by tearing up South Carolina.
Florida is clearly a tournament team, but the way it is playing right now, it is possible that it will get a No. 1 seed in the big dance. I wouldn’t count out the Rebels just yet, but Billy Donovan‘s team is by far the best in the SEC right now and looks pretty unbeatable, especially when its star Kenny Boynton is leading the team in scoring, like he did against the Gamecocks (15 points).
Florida will enter the game against the Rebels with a nine game winning streak and a perfect record of 7-0 in the SEC.
