The Florida Gators are ranked No. 4 in the nation after bouncing back from two close losses to Arizona and Kansas State and are on an 8 game winning streak. The Gators proved to the rest of the nation that Missouri was not a contender for the best in the SEC after destroying the Tigers by 31 points and shutting down the best point guard in the country. Those two points Florida held Phil Pressey to will be the lowest amount he scores all season.

The Ole Miss Rebels are the upstart team in the SEC and, led by lead SEC scorer Marshall Henderson, are picked by some to pull off the upset. Ole Miss has beaten all but three teams this year, one of which was the MTSU Blue Raiders. MTSU was a team that Florida struggled against – for about ten minutes, winning the game by more than 20 points.

There is no chance of an upset for two reasons: One, the game is at Florida and it’s nearly impossible to beat this Gators team at home. Two, If you saw the way the Rebels played in their loss to Kentucky, it is fairly obvious that the Gators would have beaten the Rebels by a large margin.

Florida’s defense is far too good for Henderson to have a 20+ point night. Expect the Gators to shut down the Rebels offense and run the score up early. Florida is the best team in the SEC; Ole Miss is a long way from that level of basketball.
