So Bad a Plane Won't Pick Up ACC Lacky Clemson Tigers

The Clemson Tigers are so bad that team transportation wants no part of them. Apparently, after their loss to the Virginia Cavaliers this past Thursday, the Tigers’ plane never came to fly the team home. The new mode of transportation for a Clemson team in a down mood after another loss? A nice good old-fashioned bus. The same kind of luxury transportation that High School players get to travel on to go approximately three miles down the road.

The road trip on the Magic School Bus ended around 6 in the morning, basically ruining a day’s worth of preparation for the struggling program.

The Tigers are currently rocking a 12-11 record, so the idea of transportation being difficult to obtain is just another gallon of gasoline added to the fire. Between the awful season that they are currently having and the ACC only going to become more difficult in the future because of conference realignment, one has to wonder if they somehow(I never thought I’d say this) miss Oliver Purnell, who is now doing a horrible job coaching the DePaul Blue Demons.

Brad Brownell, their current head coach, had success using Purnell’s players in his first season(22-12) but has since(28-26) run the Tigers’ program to the point of airplane pilots forgetting(or not wanting) to bring the team home. I doubt Brownell is on the hot-seat but he needs to start winning or Clemson could become the ACC’s bottom feeder program.

Maybe he and Purnell should go out for drinks, they seem to have a lot in common.
