The Boise State Broncos ended the month of February with a bang, winning three conference games in a row.

Over the weekend, as the calendar turned to March, the Broncos took another step forward by winning a fourth consecutive contest. This time however, they knocked off a Colorado State squad that’s just a few weeks removed from being ranked within the nation’s top 25.

For Boise State, this current streak could not have at a better time.

With two games and one final week remaining before the conference tournament is set to begin, the Broncos are in a position to potentially qualifying for their first NCAA Tournament since 2008. With that being said however, there is still work to be done.

That push continues on Tuesday night, as the Broncos will take the trip to UNLV in search of a season sweep of the Runnin’ Rebels. In addition, this contest represents a crucial game in terms of tournament seeding and conference positioning. With a win, Boise State can jump UNLV in the standings, but they’d have to do so on the road if that’s to be the case.

Don’t expect the Runnin’ Rebels to take this game lightly, however. UNLV is still considered one of the power threats within the Mountain West Conference and they know the importance of protecting their home court, especially given what’s on the line in this one. The Runnin’ Rebels could take a key step in their pursuit of the number two spot in the Mountain West Conference Tournament with a win.

Tip-off between the Broncos and Rebels is scheduled for 10:00pm (EST) on Tuesday.
