Oklahoma State Cowboys Have Two Tough Games Left on the Schedule

The Oklahoma State Cowboys will close out the season against two very good teams that will likely make the NCAA tournament. The first game will be played against Iowa State and the last game of the season will be a huge matchup against Kansas State.

The Cowboys already played the Cyclones once this season, but they could only manage a five-point victory at home. This time they will have to go on the road and play an Iowa State team that has dropped its last two games. The Cyclones have only lost at home once this season, which came not to long ago against Kansas in overtime.

Although everyone is waiting for the game against the Cowboys and the Wildcats, Oklahoma State cannot look past Iowa State or else they will find themselves in the infamous game that we all know as a trap game.

Luckily for Oklahoma State, it will get K State at home. These two teams met way back in January to open up conference play, where the Wildcats came up on top by six points.

Oklahoma State is currently 1.5 games out of first place in the Big 12 and it trails none other than the Wildcats–and Kansas, who are also at the top of the conference standings.

Kansas State will enter that game with a six-game winning streak, with the Big 12 title on the line. I guess you could say the same for the Cowboys, but they would also need the Jayhawks to lose, which would then create a three-way tie at the top of the standings.

Whether the case, Oklahoma State will have two tough games that will help prepare them for the Big 12 tournament and the big dance.
