Missouri Tigers Looking to End SEC Season on a High Note

The Missouri Tigers are going to be in the NCAA Tournament, so there is no need to worry about that. However, while we all wait for Frank Haith to return fire at Nerlens Noel, the Tigers do have some business to take care of before they start in their postseason journey.

The Tennessee Volunteers are way, way on the wrong side of the bubble at the moment. But they still have a slim fighting chance to make the NCAA Tournament. I am sure the Vols would like nothing more than to upset the Tigers and start to make a push in the SEC Tournament. These are things that Haith and the Tigers need to be aware of — evil people from Tennessee are waiting for them (I kid!).

What has been strange for the Tigers this year is their inconsistency. The team clearly has some very good talent, a crazy-awesome coach (emphasis on crazy), but has lost in the most puzzling of ways. At the same time, not a soul would be surprised if they were to make a deep run in the tourney.

Consistency needs to be what Haith preaches about the most going into the Tigers’ final game of the regular season. Even if he has to instill some new sets, change the way they play, or another extreme move that might cause them to lose to the Vols — it has to be done pre-dancing time.

I wouldn’t really suggest that they completely abandon their style of play right before the postseason begins, but Missouri has to figure something out that can help them return to their 12-2 form that they had to start the year.
