The No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers were in a close one against the No. 9 Temple Owls, but they still found a way to win down the stretch and are moving on to the Sweet 16.

Khalif Wyatt once again had a huge game for Temple, scoring 31 points, but it was obviously not enough. Only one other player on the Owls scored in double digits.

Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller came up big once again for the Hoosiers, combining for 31 points.

Indiana will now take on the No. 4 Syracuse Orange in the Sweet 16.

Syracuse has been pretty impressive in the 2013 NCAA Tournament so far, after many people wrote them off for the team not finishing good down the stretch. However, the Orange are just one win away from a trip to the Elite Eight.

The Hoosiers will be the clear favorite going into that game, even after almost losing to Temple. Indiana did not shoot very well from the floor, which is something that it will have to work on if it plans on making it to the next round.

It will be interesting to see how the Orange handle Indiana’s high-powered scoring offense, but Temple seemed to do just fine against it only allowing 58 points, despite losing. The Hoosiers have found ways to win all season long, they have arguably the most depth in college basketball and they have star power on their team like no other.

However, Syracuse will not be an easy match-up for the Hoosiers and this will be the toughest opponent that each team has played in the Big Dance so far.
