You have seen the video clips of Indiana junior Victor Oladipo throwing down highlight reel dunks and making big-time plays on the court. However, have you seen the video of Oladipo at a university talent show?
As a freshman back in April of 2011, Oladipo performed a hit single from Usher at an Indiana talent show. The show “You Got it Bad” was performed by the junior high-flyer and if he’s actually singing — it’s not all that bad. However, it’s a talent show, so there may be some lip syncing thrown in there.
Take a look at Oladipo’s off-the-court performance below:
Oladipo has come a long way since his freshman season and no, I’m not talking about his talent on stage. After averaging 7.4 points in 18 minutes of action during the 2010-11 season, Oladipo has morphed himself into one of the leading candidates for National Player of the Year. In addition, he’s looking more and more like a sure-fired lottery selection in the 2013 NBA Draft.
Let’s just hope he is not judged based on his singing talents. For that matter, maybe he should be. Like I said, it’s really not all that bad.
On the season, Oladipo is averaging 13.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as the Hoosiers look to continue their run at a national championship.
No. 1 Indiana will take on No. 4 Syracuse in the Sweet 16 later this week. This comes on the heels of their first legitimate scare of the tournament this past weekend. Indiana needed a 10-0 run to end the game to solidify a six point victory over Temple.
